Panerai Radiomir 8 Days PAM992

The PAM 992 Take the Radiomir case and pushes the need to wind it down to once a week. Sized at 45mm, the cushion-shaped steel wears in the middle of the Radiomir line. Wire lugs recall that history on the case, while a modern polished finishing and sharp facets place the watch firmly within modern luxury standards.

Much of the appeal for the reference naturally derives from its minimalist dial, which opts for a matte black appearance accented with faux patina, all while executed in the Panerai's signature sandwich construction, and  at 3 o’clock you are reminded of the 8 days of power in the movement. Arabic numerals and blue steel handset distinguishing it without excess. 

The in-house P.5000 movement powers the handset, it featuring eight days of power reserve. Notably, the manual-winding caliber directly recalls hand-wound Rolex movements used in the 1930s inspiration, once again pointing to the detail and focus Panerai maintained in design the modem PAM 992.
