1993 Tudor Submariner Date 79090

Almost every single part of this Sub is stamped Rolex; the resemblance here goes beyond looks, the case and bracelet are absolutely identical. Granted, the dial here offers slightly different indexes, allowing us to appreciate this Sub aesthetically rather than solely for its more attractive price tag. For us, there is actually one reason to love the reference 79090: its attachment to the fundamentals of vintage Rolex. Indeed, this was the very last diver from Rolex and Tudor to come with painted indexes and a top hat plexi; Tudor produced this configuration through late 1996 to be precise.
